The Wire Bus Ads
Fort Collins Connexion
My Role: Graphic Design
The Problem:
Fort Collins Connexion is known to many but not all. With a revolving door of residents from the CSU student body, many only know Connexion for a year at a time and via direct mail or other small-scale touch points.
The Ask:
Create an eye-catching ad that introduces Connexion to new audiences and reminds community members of our presence and availability.
The Solution:
Leveraging the size, reach, and frequency of Transfort’s bus network I designed an exciting, non-traditional advertisement that demands attention. We chose to break the frame, creating an oversized ad that covers nearly the full side of a 40-foot bus. The ad design strategically uses elements that interact with the bus features to create a forced 3D appearance.
"This is by far the best ad in Fort Collins and I want to thank you for making it happen."

-
Sketch out design ideas for approval
-
Vectorize and build out design to scale

The Results:
A larger than life ad that really 'pops'.
