CASE STUDY: RACHEL WILSON ART & DESIGN
CHALLENGE:
Create an eye-catching brand to incorporate into my marketing materials. These materials include a website to present my art and design works, business cards, and accompanying CV/Cover Letter combination. One of the things I wanted to ensure was a design that was clean, with respect for white space and a modern aesthetic, while remaining classic in order to withstand the test of time.
SOLUTION:
I created a classic website that presents both overviews and project-specific examples of my works. This approach allowed me to further explain more extensive projects while not leaving out the breadth of work I have completed.
By using black, white, and pigeon blue, I have created a neutral website where the focus can remain on the works themselves. This simple color scheme has also allowed for consistencies between both my website and print materials including my business cards and CV.
The resulting website has undergone 7 iterations and will likely continue to be slightly tweaked to suit the needs of volume and breath of my works.
